YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
YOU BELONG HERE!

What does a “Welcoming Community” feel like to you? What does it mean to “Belong”?

The Columbus Area Future Fund is pleased to announce our third round of “Welcoming Grants” to help welcome and engage newcomers in our communities. Creating spaces where all residents feel connected and valued is essential. These grants support innovative projects – big and small – with that goal. Some ideas could include hosting neighborhood gatherings, sponsoring memberships to community organizations, developing newcomer welcome packets or forming interest groups catering to new community members.

We have allocated $23,000 towards empowering community members to launch welcoming initiatives through the Belonging Grants program. Grant requests can range from $1 to $23,000. The application deadline is April 30, 2025.

By supporting fresh concepts that promote belonging, we hope to see our community grow more vibrant, cohesive, and inviting for all who choose to make the Columbus & Schuyler area their home.
